After you find the home you want
to buy and we
have negotiated the best deal to obtain a signed contract, it
is then time to apply for the loan. You will need the listed
items below plus any additional documents the lender indicates for the application.
1
A
signed copy of the earnest money contract.

The
address of the last two years residency, name of the land lord
and phone number, or the mortgage company name and address along
with the loan number

Social Security Number, for everyone participating in the loan. Have
the W-2 and 1099 forms for two years.

Pay
stubs for at least the last 30 days.
5
The
last two month statements for all checking, savings, and
investment accounts including stocks and bonds along with
account numbers and addresses.

A
list of all creditors and liabilities with names addresses and account numbers, monthly payments
and balances.

Any
information on real estate you already own aside from your
current homestead. This includes rental property.

A
certificate of Eligibility, DD 214, or statement of service, if
you intend to apply for a VA loan.

Required application fee.

If you
are self employed, you will need to supply a few other items
when you apply.

Each
loan company may have slightly different requirements so don’t
be surprised if addition documentation.
12 You will be required to disclose the source of the
down-payment. these funds can not be loaned to you but some
banks still allow the money to be gifted to the buyer if proof
of the origination can be identified. You will need to supply
the name, address and relationship of donor for
