Frisco Texas and experience what over 100,000 other

The city of Frisco is a
northern suburb of Dallas Texas located in both Denton and
Collin County. People who wanted to buy a house in Frisco TX
have rapidly expanded this wealthy city making it the
seventh-fastest growing suburb in the United States for the
year 2007, and in 2008 according to the Frisco city census,
real estate sales tipped the city population over 100,000
people. Frisco properties extend from northern Plano, up to
the southern border of Prosper. With continued
construction, real estate agents in Frisco have no problem
finding available and highly desirable homes to sell here.
According to a 2006 estimate, the
median income for a household in the city was $95,591, and
the median income for a family was $103,306.
With so many people buying real estate in Frisco,
transportation in and out of the city began to pose a major
problem. Buying real estate in Frisco would have declined
significantly if it were not for the completion of the
North Dallas Tollway
between Hwy 121 and Hwy 380
in 2008. This
new addition brought a well needed commute relief for the
many professionals that work in
the
Dallas/Fort Worth area, and at the
same time allowed easier access for other homebuyers wanting to
purchase a house in Frisco Texas.
Retail
properties are prolific in Frisco TX;
included on the list is the 165-store regional mall
Stonebriar Centre
that opened in 2000, and the 310,000 sq. ft.
furniture store,
IKEA
that opened its doors in 2006. Preston Rd and Hwy 121 is lined
with numerous restaurants that Frisco homeowners can
take advantage of along with many other retail stores that
offer vast product selections for resident shoppers.
Frisco Square
was built as a mixed-use development that will replace the
old downtown and contain the new City Hall, main library,
rental residential units, restaurants, commercial office
space, and a public commons.
Because of an exceptional school
district, many people selling a house in Frisco also
structure their move to buy a house within the
boundaries of Frisco ISD thus taking advantage of these great
schools.
Frisco Independent School District
handles the majority of education for the city but if
you are planning to buy a house in Frisco Texas keep in
mind, some Frisco real estate does extend into Lewisville ISD, Little Elm ISD,
and Prosper Independent School District, so when shopping
for a new house with a particular school district in mind,
check with your Frisco Real Estate Agent to find the right
locations.
Frisco High School, Frisco Centennial High School, Frisco
Liberty High School, and Frisco Wakeland High School, are
the four high schools that serve families who buy a house
within Frisco ISD.
Additional bond measures have been approved to construct
three additional High Schools to accommodate new families
who are moving to Frisco. Plans to build an 8th High
School is also on the table.
Collin County Community College,
Preston Ridge campus
is located just off Wade
Boulevard, East of Preston Road, encompassed by some of
Frisco's residential real estate that energize the cities
expansion.
In January of 2006 Dallas Baptist University opened up a
regional academic center and it is located at Warren Parkway
and Internet Boulevard. Amberton University has a local
campus on Parkwood Blvd north of Warren Parkway.
So many people who buy a
house
Frisco Texas do so because of the extraordinary effort put out by
city government to provide a total family environment.
Realtors in Frisco Texas can boast of more diverse inner city recreational
facilities than in any other DFW suburb.
If you are looking for recreation, you can find it here at the
Frisco Recreation Center
with its 18,000 Sq.
Feet of indoor, and 40,000 Sq. Feet of out door Water
Sports. The center also features high end exercise
equipment.
If you like sports check out the
Baseball at the
Dr Pepper Ballpark,
Ice
Hockey and Indoor football at the
Deja
Blue Arena, and
Soccer at Pizza Hut Park.
Frisco is also home of the
Superdrome, one of the top outdoor
velodromes
in the nation.
Construction on the Deja Blue Arena at
Dr Pepper StarCenter, adding 1,500 hockey seats, four luxury
suites, a private club and kitchen, a new concession area
and an additional parking garage, has began. This $40 million
expansion will make room for a host of new events. When
completed in May of 2009 the center will be equipped to
handle concerts, Shows, and a multitude of sporting events.
Currently the StarCenter
is home to the Dallas Stars hockey team, and the Deja Blue
Arena hosts the Frisco Thunder Football League
